23 years with Dolby Laboratories Licensing Corp.
Originally bench testing of prototype OEM consumer audio products containing Dolby IP.
Evolved into performance testing of analog and digital.  ASICs,  DSPs and code modules
submitted for testing by all the major audio signal processor manufacturers, (this involved
working closely with the engineers responsible for developing the processor),  such as
Motorola,  Analog Devices, Cirrus,  LSI,  STM,  Philips, Sony,  NEC,  Fujitsu,  Samsung,  
Yamaha,  Toshiba and Sanyo to name a few.

2.5 years with Pacific Stereo,  Service Department.  
This company was a unit of the CBS network.  I managed at two service department locations.

6 years with the US Air Force.
Worked as a Crew Chief for the First Combat Evaluation Group under Headquarters
Strategic Air Command.  Spent 6 months stationed in Northern Thailand at Udorn Royal
Thai Air Base.  Performed maintenance in air temperatures below -30 degrees F in Northern
Main.  Had RF arc from a feed horn to the lead of my pencil on my clip board while holding it
:-)   First microwave oven, an AN-TLQ-11 J-Band Slave Random Noise Jammer, (when not
jamming B-52 BNSs).

Signal Switching
A bit stream switch that I designed and we manufactured  for in house test purposes.  Dolby ET-142 is a  1 of 4 optical or electrical input select with a
4-way  break out consisting of two TOSLINK and two Pulse transformers.  Has manual keypad and can also be controlled via a COM: port with  
HyperTerminal or as I do from my  Visual Basic programs that run my Audio  Precision 2322
Remote controlled speaker switching box using push buttons or RS232 control.
4 by 4 stereo cross point switch for managing tape recorder signal routing.
Six channel A/B switch for comparing licensing samples to reference multi channel decoders for critical listening tests.

Correction,  there was a list,  but Sitebuilder had

AGAIN as usuall.  

I told myself that I would be sorry if i up graded to this
version of the program,  as  recomended by Yahoo.

And I was correct I was sorry and it cost me about a
month of useless support from Yahoo before I just
gave up and accepted that this program is a joke.

Now Yahoo is pushing a newer version.  I'm am no
going to go there again.

I added a new feature to my AutoCAD scripting Tool.

The ability to CONVERT between lumens and watts.
Or
Between Luminous Flux and Radiant Flux
SI unit (lm) to SI unit (W)

I wanted to compare several solid state light sources, (LEDs), with each other.

I also wanted to know how much light I could expect to generate from the solar panels that I
have, using some 3w white light LEDs.

I wanted to convert between luminance and radiance.  The lumen is the SI unit for luminous
flux, symbol lm.  The SI unit for radiant flux is the watt, symbol w.

Luminous flux is a weighting factor that is applied to radiant flux to indicate how bright a
light source will appear to humans.  The name of the weighting factor is,  the
luminosity
function.  It describes the sensitivity of human vision verses color,  usually specified in
nm.
To convert between lumens and watts it is necessary to multiply the
PSD of a light source by
the luminosity function.

Easier said than done.  
Well almost,  actually it ended up being fairly easy to do.
